i am finally finished with my heat system. it's a hot water solar collector, with a heat exchanger from the woodstove. it then travels thru the concreet slab for heat. the problem is that i'm getting mixed messages from people about what type of anti freeze to run in it. the solar pannels will be turned off at night and will get very cold. i was told that i need some special fluid for the system at $ 22.00 per gallon. i need 30 gallons! my origanal plan was to get some recycled anti freeze from a local auto salvage. any thoughts? thanks john

i have a 2001 chrysler sebring that the BCM went bad… so I went to the auto salvage and they replaced my BCM… thing is, when i got home i locked up my car as usual… then later i wanted to go to the store, so i attempted to get back in my car when the horn kept beeping and parking lights flashing… i'm assuming the BCM was original to the 2001 sebring with some anti theft. when i bought the car used from a private person he only gave me a key, no remote or anything, just a key. well turns out that the BCM in there that got fried was the wrong BCM for that car to begin with, thus the BCM frying on me, so anyway… now that the right one is there i need to know how to bypass the system so my horn will stop beeping and i can start my car because my car will start but die immediately i think is due to the anti theft… so how can i get my car at least to the dealership so i can have the remote lock/unlock programmed? any advice? please.

I have A 1991 Nissan Maxima and the drivers side speaker has been making static noise. I have deduced from testing many things that it is the Amplifier piece inside the speaker, as the speaker works fine alone and gets no feedback or static noise what so ever.
My Sound system is apparently custom. Its a Boise Sound system.
What i cant find is either a replacement speaker (USED PREFFERED) or another amplifer for the speaker.

I bought a Chrysler model REQ 6 disc dvd head unit from a local auto salvage, through ebay (ebay# 190203000038). It is part number 05064111AK. I was told that it came out of a 2008 Jeep Liberty. It has the main wire harness and about a foot of wire, I was told that this Jeep did not have the rear video or the Uconnect installed, so unfortunately I ddin't get those connectors. I know that I have to modify my dash, but I want to put if into my 1997 Jeep Wrangler. I bought a Scosche connecter for my Wrangler's end so that I don't have to cut it's harness. I just need to get a pin out on the radio so that I know how to connect it properly.

I have a chevy 1999 new body style reg cab silverado 1500 and i want to sell it for 4000 to 4500.( i am going to sell it at my uncles used car dealership so im getting more than trade in value) It is automatic and has only 95000 miles. everything works great buy it need a new front bumper and rear bumper that has a couple of noticeable dents. So my question is should i replace the bumpers before i sell it? or will it not make a
difference in value that exceeds all the trouble and cost of getting new ones from a auto salvage center.

My husband works at an auto salvage, and today at work, something strange and unfortunate happened to him. He needed to do something to a car, and when he bent down there was a pretty big weed (dead, but still there) sticking up. He stepped on it, but apparently not enough, because when he bent down to go under the vehicle, the weed went right up his nose! He came home with a bloody shirt, and whined and cried to me about how bad it hurt. Now, I know that stuff happens that we would never expect, but what are the odds of that, really? Just curious if anyone else has had anything like that happen to them, or if anyone knows how it that people somehow get hurt doing the most routine things?

I have a 2003 Sentra with less then 90,000Km (56,000Miles) so its still got lots of life in it, too bad its missing the one thing that every new car has these days; an AUX jack in the dash. I don't want a gaudy flashy 3rd party radio when I can get a stock one from an auto salvage for 150 bucks and it does everything I want and matches the car.
